We are pleased to announce that NNPA and Pouchforum have been invited to hold the session “EU: the upcoming legislature and challenges for nicotine pouches” at InterTabac, the world’s leading tobacco industry event, bringing together international market leaders and and representatives from all areas of the industry at Messe Dortmund.
InterTabac, held on 19th to 21st of September, is a business-to-business event that is not open to general public. Nevertheless, NNPA sees the possibility to speak at such an event as an opportunity to reach a broad representation of the nicotine pouch value chain. NNPA also welcomes the opportunity for a continued cooperation with Messe Dortmund after having been a partner at the EVO NXT fair in Malaga, where NNPA and Pouchforum participated both in the main stage program on nicotine pouches, as well as held the most visited masterclass of the event.
NNPA’s presentation at InterTabac will focus on providing an update on the most recent regulatory developments and decisions across the EU, which impact the nicotine pouch world. During the session, a recent report drawn up for the NNPA will be presented: “Do not make EU nicotine pouches the new snus: why a different approach by the European Commission is long due”.
The session will end with a panel, on which experts and professionals will be invited to discuss current challenges and opportunities related to the regulation and market dynamics of nicotine pouches in Europe, as well as potential future developments. The panel will include the author of the report as well as representatives from global manufacturers such as Landewyck, BAT and JTI.
